This project contains four main tasks:1.monitor and supervise the quality of reusing recycled aggregates which transported in Yunlin by inspecting it through Toxicity Characteristic Leaching Procedure (TCLP). 2.monitor and supervise the pollution caused by recycled aggregates by testing methods for soil and water quality. 3.arrange and manage the quantity used of recycled aggregates in Yunlin. 4.promote the usage of recycled aggregates in public construction in Yunlin. The implementation progress and results of each work plan are described below. 1.The quality testing of incinerated recycled aggregates (using the toxic dissolution procedure,TCLP) has been carried out 48 times, and the current test results have not exceeded the standards set by the Environmental Protection Agency. 2.The monitoring of soil and groundwater at the place where the incinerated recycled aggregates are used has reached 23 points. At present, the measured values of soil testing have not exceeded the standards established by the Environmental Protection Agency; and the measured values of groundwater sampling have been compared within the county The water quality monitoring results of the regional groundwater monitoring wells can be presumed that the results of the project's groundwater monitoring ammonia nitrogen, iron and manganese projects are related to the local regional water quality. 3.The accumulated amoumt of recycled aggregates which need to be transferred back is approximately 109,000 metric tons, the amount of temporary resumption at each temporary location is about 5 thousand metric tons, and the cumulative usage over the years is about 102,000 metric tons. 4. In order to establish the system and regulations related to recycled aggregates in Yunlin County, in May and June, the key points for the use of recycled aggregates by various agencies under the Yunlin County Government and the promotion of deforestation in Yunlin County were established. Reward points for the use of incinerated aggregates; in May and August, the public project of incinerated recycled pellets in Yunlin County was conducted to communicate and coordinate with various bureaus. In addition, a briefing session was held in October to explain to the representatives of the engineering units at all levels in the county the various applications and specifications for using recycled aggregates.
